In this film Peter Chan first reviews the important symptoms of prostatic disease, and the examination findings, and the value of prostate specific antigen, and uroflowmetry and ultrasound. Con Metreweli then demonstrates prostatic ultrasound on two patients. Peter Chan then carries out a trans-urethral prostatectomy on one of the patients. The film ends with a discussion of various issues, including medical treatment of both benign and malignant prostatic disease. 2006
