Windows Macintosh Geological terms are easier to understand with a full color photograph, movie, and/or labeled illustration. Illustrated Dictionary of Earth Science is an excellent classroom reference for you and your students! In a collaborative effort with the American Geological Institute, this CD-ROM contains over 8700 earth science, environmental, mining, physics, engineering, and life science definitions. Over 2000 terms are illustrated with a full color illustration, photograph, or movie (video or animated illustration). Term, definition, and images pop up instantly as you select a term. You can click on terms shown in color within the definition to link to that dictionary entry. You can also print the illustrations, definitions, and photographs. Enlarged illustrations include labels. Grades 7-12 and college. This program on Windows does not properly display images with QuickTime™ version 7.5.5 or later. For Macintosh, this program requires the Classic environment.

QuickTime™ required. This program was developed as a 32-bit application and is not supported on 64-bit versions of XP or Vista.
