NEW DELIVERY OPTIONS

We have made changes to the way we handle delivery charges on orders. During the checkout stage you will be asked to select AUSTRALIA DELIVERY, or OVERSEAS DELIVERY depending on your location. We will then e-mail you with options for delivery, ranging from Insured Postal Delivery, to Courier Delivery for Australian Customers, and Standard Insured Airmail, to FedEx Delivery for Overseas Customers.
 

SECURITY INFORMATION

Medical and Science Media now use a Thawte SSL Certificate to secure our Shopping Cart. You can confirm this by clicking on the Secured By Thawte Seal below. This seal can also be found on our Home Page, Medical Home Pages, Science Home Pages, and the Shopping Cart Pages.

 

WHAT IS MAXMIND

minFraud, supplied by a company called MaxMind is a proprietary credit card fraud detection service that combines GeoIP® technology with other in-house developed order variable checks, such as open proxy detection. Merchants can use the minFraud service to speed up manual order verification, automate order process by using our risk scores, or develop their own customized scoring system with the information that they provide.
 

HOW TO USE THE SHOPPING CART

To purchase an item/s from this catalogue using the Shopping cart simply click on the BUY link next to the price of the item you would like to purchase, this will place the item in the cart. When you have finished shopping, click on a VIEW CART link to take you to the shopping cart where you can review your order, and make changes, if necessary. With our new shopping cart you can click on CHECKOUT if you are happy with your selection and just want to complete the purchase.

As you move through the purchasing process, you will be asked to supply your name and address, telephone number, and e-mail address. If you live in Australia select the 10% GST Option. All other countries select the 0% Tax Exempt Option. You will also be asked to select the preferred method of delivery of your order.

Finally, you will be asked to supply your credit card details. If you choose you can provide this number by faxing it to us in which case you just select - Payment Via Phone/Fax

PAYPAL OPTION NOW AVAILABLE - You can now use PayPal to pay for your order. You just select the I would like to pay using PayPal option and we will contact you with details. PLEASE NOTE: You must supply an email address so we can contact you. Australian Customers can supply a telephone number instead.

bottom of Shopping Cart Page, and Checkout Pages

Once your order is completed you will be sent an e-mail confirming the order. 

DISCOUNT COUPONS

The quantity discounts offered during the checkout stage of the Shopping Cart have been replaced by a Discount Coupon System.

To obtain a coupon simply let us know your order before you place it and if we feel that a discount should be offered you will be e-mailed a coupon number to use during the checkout stage to receive your discount.

Some of the reasons we will offer you a discount is:

1. A large order
2. Orders of two, or more items with the same Cat. # prefix
3. You have ordered with us before
4. You are a student
5. You are paying via Money Order, or Cheque
