An interactive,
problem based educational program
This program was developed to facilitate the teaching
and learning of normal child growth and development. It
allows students to observe the progressive growth and
development of the same child over time, via the use of
digitalised video clips of the child performing
age-related tasks and behaviours. The program is
structured around visits to the family home when the
child is 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months
and 12 months old. During these visits the parents raise
concerns about their child’s growth or development that
students work through, before outlining the most
appropriate advice. Child health and family issues such
as feeding, crying, immunisation, Sudden Infant Death
Syndrome (SIDS), stranger anxiety and postnatal
depression are introduced to students during relevant
visits.

All-in-one
clinical medical reference resource,
interactive review guide for Obstetricians,
Gynaecologists and clinicians involved in
Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Designed to Address Multiple Needs
Challenger/Creasy Resnik® contains the
complete, 61-chapter, Maternal-Foetal
Medicine text in electronic form,
integrated with the most recent version of our
Med-Challenger OBGYN, the best clinical
review and interactive self-assessment tool on
the market for obstetricians, gynaecologists
and clinicians involved in Maternal-Foetal
Medicine.
Use of Challenger/Creasy Resnik® can
improve and broaden the OB generalist's
understanding and knowledge to help them
broaden their practice scope and co-management
skills. By learning more maternal-foetal
medicine (MFM) principles, OBs can get more
involved in MFM patients and overall become
more skilled obstetricians.
Conversely, an MFM who mainly just spends time
reading and learning about their area of
expertise, MFM, will have lost general GYN and
other clinical expertise over time. So, with a
generalist's review, such as Med-Challenger
OBGYN, included, specialists can review a
broad spectrum of up-to-date principles in the
field from time to time. It's a bridge to a
more complete practice.
Besides being an invaluable reference and
review resource for every aspect of maternal-foetal
medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology
(including newly revised sections on genetics
and prenatal diagnostic screening, as well as
new chapters dealing with the congenital and
acquired thrombophylic disorders, diagnosis
and management of the depressive/mood
disorders and more common psychoses, and
statistical considerations in perinatal
medicine), this product offers up to 320 AMA
category 1 CME credits through challenging
knowledge assessments! All this, on one CD-ROM
and/or Internet account.
Challenger/Creasy Resnik® provides the resources and functionality you
need in one, cost-effective, easy-to-use, go-anywhere package. It's one
elegant tool for multiple uses.
Your Clinical Content Comprehensive
Resource
Challenger/Creasy Resnik® consists of
state-of-the-art clinical information in 61
chapters covering over 80 essential topics of
obstetrics and gynaecology. Each chapter
provides its own question and answer quiz. As
if that weren't enough, we've included
Med-Challenger OBGYN to further assist your
review in every aspect of obstetrics and gynaecology. The program integrates cutting-edge clinical
