Muscular System - The muscular system is made up of skeletal muscles together with associated condensations of fibrous tissues, (e.g tendons, fibrous tendons, sheaths, deep fascia, retinacula and septa) and synovial tendon sheaths. Muscles are arranged in groups that tend to share a common fascial compartment and produce a common action. Muscles are typically paired, except for those in the midline.
