The testis and epididymis are removed from the scrotal sac revealing the parietal layers of the tunica vaginalis. The tunica vaginalis is much more extensive anteriorly that posteriorly (where the testis is supplied via its neurovascular hilus). The testis is displaced laterally to inspect its medial aspect.
